Do you take custom orders?
Yes, we take custom orders for Mala bracelets and Mala necklaces. Please note that if we do not have certain gemstones or crystals in stock, then we will need to order them in, so the order could take up to a month to fulfill. If you’re wanting to inquire more, head on over to our contact page and let us know what you’re looking for.
What’s your return policy?
Orka Gems offers a seven (7) day return policy in the form of shop credit. The return window begins on the day the order is delivered. We do not offer exchanges. ALL discounted and custom items are final (including on sale and promo codes).
Please note your original shipping fee is not refundable and will be deducted from the refundable amount. Additionally, we do not provide pre paid return labels; the cost to ship the items for a refund is to be covered by the purchaser wanting a refund.
When we receive the item, you will receive shop credit and be notified via email. Please email us within seven days of receiving your item to orkagems@outlook.com to start the return process.
How long will basic shipping take?
This can be a little tricky due to Covid-19 delays with the postal services. Typically it should take 3-10 business days, however Canada Post has advised that it will be about two weeks. Please note that during the holiday season this can take even longer. The Basic shipping option also does NOT have tracking. If you would like your parcel expedited and tracked, choose the Expedited option.
What is the difference between Gold Filled and Gold Plated?
Gold filled jewelry is created by bonding a thick layer of actual gold to another metal (usually brass or copper). Because the gold layer is thick, gold-filled jewelry will not tarnish, fade, or flake and could last for many years. Another benefit for gold-filled jewelry is that individuals with sensitive skin should have no irritations.
Gold plated jewelry are created by bonding a thin layer of gold over metals such as silver, brass, or copper. Although the layer of gold is quite thin, it still gives the jewelry the same look as a solid gold piece.
What do you ship your items in?
We use a eco-friendly biodegradable packaging and tape. So when you receive your parcel, you can throw the package into the compost.
