To ensure the longevity of your precious jewelry:

We a suggest to avoid wearing when in contact with harsh chemicals (ie chlorine, cleaners, bleach, synthetic fragrance, etc). Our Gold-filled pieces are waterproof, not chemical-proof. Chlorine pools and hot tubs are rife with chemicals that can damage or tarnish your beloved pieces—same goes for shampoos, conditioners, body washes, skincare and cleansers with chemical additives.

Avoid wearing gold plated while working out and sweating, as sweating can break down the gold plating.

Always store your jewelry in a safe space where it will be free from tangling and knotting.

Any brass items will naturally oxidize over time. They can be cleaned and restored by using a little bit of “BRASSO” with a cloth to polish, or you can find a jewelry polishing cloth to use.

Please be gentle with your jewelry! If your item gets damaged from being pulled on, has caught on something, or any other physical damage, that is not a reflection on Orka Gems.
